My second rocket - Fowo - October 2022 (scroll down)
Launching my frist rocket was such a wonderful experience that I was not going to stop there. I upgraded my first rocket by fiberglassing the bottom of it (tip to tip);
I cleaned the whole rocket and decided to upgrade the avionics system by adding a key switch, just like for a car, the system needed a key to be turned on, saving a lot of battery as the inner switch was unaccessible.
After mounting a bigger engine and fitting it in the engine hold, it was time to fly.
The flight was successful and went to 1200m before coming back down and opening parachutes. The recovery was easy, and, as you can see in the picture, the rocket was doing well. I hence got my level 2 certification after passing the written test with a 38/40.
This particular rocket taught me multiple things: patience, protocols and that sleep is required to achieve most things (I fried the flight computer 10min pre launch).
