My first rocket - Fuwu - May 2022

Creating rocket has been a dream of mine for long now and nothing was going to stop me from succeeding. I decided to stream my whole journey on twitch with the french community.

With the guidance of different experienced rocket team members, I got to build my high power rocket using a kit and modify it to fit my needs.

The goal of this project was to receive my Level 1 NAR certification, which would allow me to purchase solid rocket engines with a total impulse higher than 640 N.s.

I started by buying the LOC IV rocket kit made by loc precision, proceeded to model it and build it using rocket epoxy. I learned about rocket mounting, parachute folding, soldering flight computers, safety procedures and way more.

This first experience was amazing and it taught me a lot, especially that better is the enemy of good in this industry.
